I can't wait for Boston fans when Kyrie comes to townAs a Celtics fan, I'm rooting for them, but I like both teams, so not going to be too upset if
Dallas wins.
Kyrie going to get booed big time in Boston.
10 day cruise. Celts tickets. What a life.I might get nose bleed seats just to yell CRYRIE SUCKS CRYRIE SUCKS CRYRIE SUCKS
But I never sit in nose bleed seats, and I'm on a 10 day carribean cruise. Although I can go to game one
C's on 5, I'm assuming they take one game off
Dallas is great defensively10 day cruise. Celts tickets. What a life.
Will be at Saratoga on Saturday 8/3. Quick drink on me if you're there that weekend. Then back to handicapping!
Back to the game. This is the Celtic's year. Ferocious D to catch a tough Indiana out their last two games. I think Doncic is the second best player in the game after the Joker. Cryrie will be hot and cold. How will Dallas compete when he's cold?

Tatum has always been a solid all around player. He’s very good. But he sometimes resorts to taking bad shots and whining to the refs . He needs to attack the basket moreTatum has grown as an all around player. So has Jaylen Brown. Derrick White and Jrue Holliday are the best defensive guard tandem in the league. Porzingas is expected back. And Horford is sixth man any team would love to have. Any of the six can put up 25+ on any given night. Cryrie better be "on" every night (but he won't be) or Dallas has little chance. I think the Mavs will win one or two. That's it. The deeper team wins.
Tatum is a better all around player than he has ever been. So is Jaylen Brown. Those guys have grown as players over this season. And they will take the ball to the basket much more than they did two years ago. They are much less likely to play hero ball which ultimately hurts a "team". This is a "team".Tatum has always been a solid all around player. He’s very good. But he sometimes resorts to taking bad shots and whining to the refs . He needs to attack the basket more
Celtics as a whole need to attack more. Too reliant on jump shooting
This will be the best team they face by far on both ends of the floor
No more easy street
I do agree Kyrie has to be great though. He probably will be for the most part
i don’t agree with a bit of this, especially the Kyrie stuff,Tatum is a better all around player than he has ever been. So is Jaylen Brown. Those guys have grown as players over this season. This won't be '22 against Golden State. Tatum and Brown will not be bent over clutching their shorts from exhaustion in the fourth quarter like they were when Udokis was coaching. Joe Mazzulla is still growing as a coach, I'll give you that, but he has woven his bench into the mix nicely, something Udokis never did. Tatum and Brown will be relatively rested when crunch time comes in these games.
And the Cs have much better supporting players now. You can try to belittle Porzingis but he is just an additional piece in this six man machine. Holliday and White are huge upgrades over anything the Cs had in '22 at the guard position.
I'll give you that Doncic is the best player on the floor. After him the Celtics win the next five players. Maybe the next four if you want to make Cryrie a push, That's all he is. I'd much rather have Tatum or Brown.
I know those Dallas odds look juicy but I just don't see them beating THIS Celtic team. Good luck.
